Grand Haven, MI (WGHN) – Grand Haven Board of Light and Power have announced that Level II EV charging is now available in downtown Grand Haven. Peerless Flats apartments have installed 4 level II chargers, and these are available for public use.

Peerless Flats is located at 240 N 1st St in Grand Haven.

There will be more electric vehicle charging stations added in mid-Michigan soon. Lansing, East Lansing, Meridian Township, and Williamston Township will shard eight-million-dollars from the federal government to add the stations. Lansing Mayor Andy Schor says the Biden administration’s bipartisan infrastructure law was the first time the money was made available.

The Lansing Board of Water and Light says they are ready to supply the power for the chargers.
